Anyone want to give me their thoughts on what would make an Eolai (visually) different than a human before I start in on the art? Essentially they're us...but beautiful. Heh. Which is only a problem because I don't plan to draw the humans as ugly.
In the Eolai male concept, I added some markings around the face/eyes that as far as I know don't exist in-game. The ears were slightly pointed too. I also think a big difference will probably be in how I capture their eyes. Any suggestions? |

Super big anime eyes? <Snicker>
They don't have any large differences, but I'd suggest a lot of subtle differences, enough to make them noticeably 'different'. I think the biggest points will be the eyes, and their more slender build.
But hey, maybe there's something more to them? Could always come up with something to add to the race for a distinguishing feature. _________________ Dragoonseal |

Perhaps making their features more young looking than what a human might look like would set them apart? Humans do all kinds of things to themselves to make them seem younger than they actually are. The small marking around the eyes might help as well. _________________ Help! Help! I'm being oppressed! |

I agree that the giant anime eyes would help them stand out along with the slightly pointy ears...probably some really defined cheekbones too.
Basically, um, make em look like elves, heh. _________________ ~Hunter~ |

Just because their hair always has that windblown with care look doesn't make em anymore appealin to me. And I could care less about what I heard said. I ain't never seen no stars in an Eolai's eye's. Yea, they might be able to heal up and never have a scar from a wound or sometin like dat, but I ain't aimen ta cause scars, I aimen ta make graves.

Hmm... differences between Eolai and humans... probably little or no body/facial hair. The face markings. The no scarring thing as others have mentioned, the ability to look forever young maybe? Young as in... 20's. ::ponders a little bit:: Probably a slender build. I wouldn't think there would be too much difference in the build for males and females. Maybe males being just a bit wider in the shoulders and all that. And perhaps that dark seductive look to 'em. :;grins:: I dunno! Just a few suggestions, yanno? _________________ "I don't suffer from Insanity. I enjoy every minute of it." |
