Score, thanks. Squelching is ridiculously OOC. I had to talk to that special someone today, and fortunately squelching doesn't block ACT, so I had to ACT write on cards and hold them up. Glad I don't have to do that for contracts and such *grins*. |

So.....what stops mercs from working outside the system? It seems like there is alot more money for an assassin who doesn't have to follow any stricts codes. _________________

Honor, I guess. Maybe there'll be punishments or something in live.
Well, also, things are supposed to work like this:
Me: "I'm killing you for Someone Else."
Them: "Damn you, Someone Else. My anger is now directed towards you!"
Unfortunately that's not always the case. But I'd think that it goes as it should more often than it doesn't, so playing by the rules will usually make it so you don't get hunted down after you've killed them and such. |

Same reason (most) people in the real world don't do it. It's just not legal that way. If it's not an "official" contract, both the assassin and person who hired him/her could be charged with murder (once we get an actual justice system).
Or something like that. _________________ ** The phrase "break a leg" just wasn't ambitious enough for Mellie Knight. [8:31 pm]
