Was hunting earlier and I got this message when trying to attack. . .

>kick
A mamujuk berserker's right eye is already completely destroyed.

And any 'kick' command after that would give me the same message. . .so I had to choose another attack since the target of my kick was obviously predetermined.

Yes, commands remember if you try to aim them. If you did kick <target> right eye, any future uses of kick will do that as well unless you specify a new target, like kick <targ> head. This is a feature that we're going to remove though, it's a nuisance.

Just got it again. . . this time with 'elbow'. . .no aimed attacks. . .and it always seems to be the 'right eye' area. . .

elbow
Moving gracefully, an eobais hunter slashes a gnarled blade at you. Shockingly, you dodge the attack in a feat of pure luck.

A mamujuk berserker stands back up.
Stumbling at the last moment, a mamujuk berserker charges at you. Unsurprisingly, you dodge the attack with ease.

An eobais hunter searches the area carefully.
A mamujuk berserker's right eye is already completely destroyed.

I've gotten the same thing before, maybe the targeted hit carries over to another creature? I also noticed that mine tend to be the "left eye" and that when I push the Number Pad Enter, to repeat without retyping, it will target...yet if I just type the attack out "spear" (the attack I've seen it most predominant with) it seems to just land the hit on a random roll.

Just target the head or something, usually things are dead when their heads are destroyed.

Yes, the area you last targeted is remembered, even on a different critter. If you punched at Joe's head, then walked off and typed kick asapi, you'd try for the head. It's annoying, but it was intended to be helpful, originally.

Could you make this a toggle instead of removing it altogether? I never knew about this but I personally think this is helpful since most of my attacks are aimed.

As are mine. So I think it would be nice to keep also.
