There are two notes I need to make regarding the "live" changeover, and I hope neither are too disheartening, but they are necessary for sake of fairness.
We're still a long way from ready for live but I wanted to clarify this now.
1. Your character's experience carried over will not be literal experience. It will be a measure of time it took to get that experience, which is then converted into experience in "live". This means you can't cheat the system by making lots of low level characters that can gain exp fast.
2. We're reversing course on the previous announcement that you'll be able to combine experience from multiple characters into one character. This is primarily due to multi accounting. It would not be in the least bit fair to allow someone to power script two level 40 characters in the test game, then end up with one level 80 character in "live". So, each character's experience will be carried over on a character by character basis.
