Okay, so I was minding my own business... getting ready to log into the game because I was behind on gushing-over-Trevor. And like, while I clicked the mode that I wanted to use to play the game.. A download box popped up and disappeared before I had the chance to even see it!
So, you know. I wasn't able to enter the game. (I re-downloaded the Wizard, just for safe measure.) And I'm STILL not able to get in. I mean, what's up? How am I supposed to go on without my gushing-over-Trevor sessions? Um, FIX IT! <<Innocent look.>>

Were you using GoPlay? There's a new version available which would explain why yours didn't work. Here's a copy of the IG news that you probably didn't get to read.

You may also wish to reinstall the launcher.

Okay. Sooo, I did what you said. I re-installed the Launcher - AFTER I re-installed the launcher this morning! And, I still get the same thing. How am I expected to go on? I have letters to write, people to meet, guys to flirt--Er.

So... how are you trying to enter the game, the play link on the website? Are you using any firewall software or playing on a networked system that may have a firewall?

Yes, I'm using the play link. It's very odd, because, I ::know:: I have the Wizard/Launcher/whatever downloaded correctly. I can enter Simu games without a problem, Sooo, uhh..

Very odd. I've seen similar problems when people use a bad SAL file or their launcher isn't working properly, but you've reinstalled both the Wizard & launcher, yes? I have verified all is fine with your account, etc, so it's no problem there.
You should next try GoPlay. Go to http://downloads.haelrahv.com and download the SetupGoPlay109.ZIP and install and run it. It is intended to allow you to connect to the game w/out the web page.

GoPlay! 1.10 has been released.
This is not a required update, but I recommend everyone getting to it whenever they have the time. Fixes an icon and a few account status descriptions (for clarity, INACTIVE has been renamed to EXPIRED and ACTIVE has been renamed to STANDARD).
