I was just wondering if thrown weapons are workign correctly? It would seem to me that they are not. I recently rerolled my artisan with the intent of switchign weapon specializations from bladed to thrown. With bladed she was able to hunt (albeit with effort) doe's and borkin settlers/wanderers. She no longer learned well from Eobais workers. Now, with thrown trained just as high (actually higher since she has leveled up to 10th) it is an effort to kill an Asapi. Out of 20 successful throws, 12 of them were slight, and the other 8 weak. Her agility matches her strength, and asides from coordination perception is her next highest stat. |

Have you tried different weapons? All weapons can be thrown, but most aren't as well suited for it as they are for their primary use. Off hand, I'm not sure what are the best weapons for throwing, but some are definatly better then others. _________________ ~Hunter~ |

Fixed. There was a bug that caused the damage rating on piercing thrown to be read incorrectly. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

One weapon is a throwing knife, the other a shuriken, both app as 'thrown' weapons. |

Is everything else in order? My character can't hit workers which are 4 levels below her own. |

Ugh. Found another bug. It was using your bladed skill instead of thrown. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Thanks for the speedy fixes. Glad I gave thrown a shot, surprised this went unnoticed for so long. <g> |

Yeah, thrown hasn't been used much. These bugs may be one reason why. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
