As we all know, Haelrahv is in a test phase. One of the points of this phase has been to test various theories, including economic ones. Some have gone well, others not so well.
In the next few days and beyond, I am going to be reviewing payouts for all of our systems. Combat, foraging, potions, woodworking, pottery, fishing, and so on. There will be adjustments.
The most likely to be affected systems are foraging and potions. It is likely that:
- the bonus for preparing components fully will be reduced.
- the value of potions will be reduced.
- the general profit of all systems except the above and fishing will be increased.
I realize this is a disappointment to some, and a relief to others. I don't think, however, that Haelrahv should be tied to a strict forage all day economy. The idea was that various systems would be roughly of equal profit, and we know it just isn't. So, I'll be reviewing all of it and making changes soon - fair warning.
It is likely everyone will receive one free reallocation (max 3 tho, not 4 if you had never realloc'd) _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

COMPONENTS AND FORAGING UPDATES.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as possibly later today, some changes will be made to components and foragables in general:
* Specific rooms will become progressively harder to find things in as they are foraged in and will need time to recover. This will force everyone to use many rooms to find their bundles instead of one. This will not affect affect mining immediately, however.
* The max per unit value ($20) will be reduced.
* The difficulty to find each specific component will be adjusted. Generally, most components will require more skill to find. Components for the lesser alchemical mixtures will remain easy and imfel, for example, will become easier. Whereas higher end components will become harder.
* The bonus for fully preparing a component (value x2) will be reduced. Components that are easy to prepare will be worth the least and those that are most involved to refine will be worth the most when prepared.
* The values of potions will also be looked at and altered.
