Are you likely to use special abilities outside of those normally used by your profession? (i.e. magic when you're not a mage, implants when you're not part of a tech-related profession, etc.)? |
I'll use tons of it, even if it makes me a little weak in my normal profession stuff. |

I'll use lots of it, but stay true to my profession's important skills. |

I'll dabble a little, but will primarily train in skills my profession needs most. |

I'll probably use no or very little of these skills and stick to secondary skills like crafts, survival skills and so on. |

Depends on the character I'd be playing, really. My agent would most likely use just about any skill he could, but stay true to what he knows best.
Another, taking a mage for example, would look down on skills not primary to him and only train them if required to. |

Well being a very uncharsmatic Jaddan Mage using cybernetics realy isn't an option. But as far as using psionics. I train them to the upmost. But I also remain loyal to my mage status and concentrate my skills in spell research and spell casting first. Also my intelligence gets worked as much as possible without making me a clumsy oaf. And oddly enough I still have lots of skill points left over. Go figure. Should take up a hobby maybe. Might look into getting an instrument. |

l guitar
A transparent-blue sunburst of beauty once upon a time, but faded now from the sand and the surf. The body, a sleek and vintage form, has long since surrendered itself to entwining seaweed, and other little bits of muck caked in the frets, the bridge, and even in the f-holes. The hardware is in no better condition, mostly rusted; the jack looks shot, and one of the tonal knobs appears to be missing. Turning the guitar over, you discover that the chromed trussrod cover, albeit heavily corroded, bears the engraving 'Loretta'.
shoot berserker
Patiently waiting for a good shot, you fire a raging seaweed-covered guitar at a mamujuk berserker. In short order, you land a devastating hit to his head as a mamujuk berserker fails to dodge the attack.
A mamujuk berserker lets out an eardrum-shattering roar before slumping to the ground! |
As you can see, I fully endorse such an endeavor. _________________ Mickey Brunner

Mickey.. your guitar reminds me of the one Antonio Banderas (sp? ugh) had in Once Upon A Time In Mexico. The hidden gun part, anyway.

That's a bigger compliment than you know. A few days ago, I used it as a blunt weapon to bash people in the head. _________________ Mickey Brunner

It's the return of El Kabong, but still no Baba Looey in sight.

Mickey Brunner is washed in on a brackish wave amidst a collection of slimy debris and dead vegetation.
Mickey Brunner opens a finned gaoun-wood guitar case.
Mickey Brunner gets a raging seaweed-covered guitar from a finned gaoun-wood guitar case.
Fumbling a bit in the process of taking a shot, Mickey Brunner fires a raging seaweed-covered guitar at you. Amazingly, he lands a devastating hit to your right hand as you fail to dodge the attack.
Your world spins around you as you reel to the ground!
You are completely dazed by the attack!
... another shot hits!
A vial of imfel crystals falls from your destroyed hand!
... another shot hits!
... another shot hits!
... another shot hits!
[You are badly balanced, healthy, well rested, bleeding, stunned, and prone.]
You can't seem to move.
Mickey Brunner puts a raging seaweed-covered guitar in a finned gaoun-wood guitar case.
Mickey Brunner closes a finned gaoun-wood guitar case.
You suddenly feel much better.
Mickey Brunner says, "Sorry."
You say, "Heh."
You say, "Nice."
Mickey Brunner dusts you off.
Mickey Brunner rings a bicycle bell.
BING! BING!
Mickey splits for murkier waters.
