Just had a neat idea that may or may not have been pondered over yet... adding in grenade-like weapons to the combat structure. These could be used as ranged weapons or in melee just the same but using them in melee wouldnt be advisable for obvious reasons, except for certain ones. The only difference between melee and ranged used might be the delay (rt) for using them. Using them in melee youd want to be quicker with where as ranged would take time to travel through the air and what not. Here are some possible ideas I have for them, let me know what you think.
Fragmentation:
Simple detonating grenade that explodes within a radius.
Grid Grenade:
Similar to a claymore but with pulse/ion damage as opposed to "whatever."
Smoke (primary in melee):
Smoke screen that immediately tosses user out of melee combat and when they leave the room within 5 seconds of the RT (which should be rather small) of use passing to do so unseen by those in the room. Weather conditions apply to how lond the smoke screen lasts.
Stun grenade:
obvious....don't use in melee, duh.
Flash grenade:
Creates a large blast of light that gives a small stun and creates blindness. Proximity to target determines value of blindness. Greater the blindness, greater the combat penalty. Ranging from -1 to maybe -50 for laying it at their feet.
Claymore grenade:
Variation of grid grenade, just different damage type.
Electroshock pulse:
Frag grenade with electric damage.
These all would be one time use weapons obvisously and fairly expensive to deter them from being used as a normal weapon. I'm thinking of an "Oh no, sh** just hit the fan" sorta situation weapon. Feel free to add any ideas ya have anybody, or improvements to these ideas. Main factor in tossing them would be strength, coordination and thrown weapon skill.

Unlike a certain other well known game from which most of you folks came... we do consider PvP when making balance decisions. Even tho these are expensive, they seem like the end all for winning in PK.
