| Well, since implants + guardians = bad, I'm moving on to a trooper... So, troopers specialize in 5 weapons. Does this mean that they have to train 5 weapons, like in DR? Or does this mean that they just get bonuses to training weapons? Because I'm really only interested in using exotic guns and plasma, and I don't want to have to waste skill points on training weapons that I don't want to use. |

The only weapon you HAVE to train is pulse weapons.
Make sure to train unarmed too, so you can kick them in the face while you're aiming.

You don't -have- to train any skill, weapon or otherwise.  But, if you want to be good at a specific thing, you should train in that thing. Oh and don't expect you'll be able to keep kicking while aiming forever.

What I meant was it was auto-trained. I guess you don't TECHNICALLY train it, but you get the point.

In that sense I suppose you do have to train it, even if not voluntarily.

| Alright, that's cool... I didn't want to waste training on bladed weapons when all I'm going to be doing is shooting them. |
