I thought I'd just start a new pottery wants list everyone can cut and paste from and keep a running list of.
So far we have the following:
ocarinas
piccolos are made of metal or wood not clay that I can recall.
recorders (possible)
kazoos (usually made of plastic or metal)
tureens
mixing bowls
flasks
That is all I can think of for now.

If a recorder can be made of clay, why couldn't a simple piccolo?

William, piccolo's are mostly made of wood and metal and need to hit high notes as do most flutes.
Recorders and ocarinas don't hit those really high notes. They are more mellow. I've personally never seen a recorder made of clay either. I just said possible.
