I don't want to come off as a complete whiner or someone who bitches about everything (even though I do, but we're forgetting that for the purpose of this post).. but there seems to be a bit of an unbalance in combat that's easy to see.

I know that I'm only touching the tip of the Unarmed Combat iceberg and that I'll probably get a lot better with levels and stances, but seriously.. why is it taking me ten to twenty kicks/punches/whatevers on a critter when someone can walk in and "double pulse" the same critter two or three times and be done with it (especially with minimal training in pulse, too)? Confused

Experience isn't only based on kills... it's also based on hits. Why would you want to kill something in two shots if you can get more experience out of it by taking your time? Some people fight without a weapon for that specific reason.

Keep in mind, in the full release, guns and pulse weapons won't be so easy to get your hands on.

The rapid fire aspect of pulse/firearms will be a fleeting thing as skill grows. Why? Because you'll need to aim. Right now aiming isn't too significant because everyone's skill is so low, but it will grow in significance.

Also, expect many changes to pricing of pulse and firearms as well as ammo, etc. These are intended to be expensive weapons.
