I just watched a game against the Phillies and we beat them in extra innings... again.

I'm all for the Yankees losing. There was a lot of hype surrounding the red sox during spring training. Haven't seen as much as I was led to expect though. Good luck with the Yankees thing, I detest both NY teams  |

Meanwhile, this is what happens to us (The Royals)
The Associated Press reports Kansas City Royals temporary CL David Riske blew the save Sunday, April 8, when Detroit Tigers C Ivan Rodriguez belted a three-run home run in the ninth inning that paved the way for a 3-2 win by Detroit. Riske said he thought Rodriguez was going to bunt on the pitch. "That's what I get for thinking," said Riske.

Being a Braves fan and sitting through many painful blown saves last season... I can totally sympathize. |

Not that I'm a sports man...But it's always nice to see our pathetic teams actually beating someone, especially when for years our only decent team was the Red Wings. Go Tigers?
