So, I heard some complaints about there not being enough human stuff around.(paraphrased. I was kinda busy)
I'd really like your input, so what are you players of Humans looking for, exactly?
Examples would be nice. |

humans need more human-based things. like pants or hotdogs.
that aside, it would be cool if people could eventually go looking for things that related to the spaceship crashing that took humans to haelrahv.
i know it's something any race is capable of doing, but i think something human based could be a fun way to get more things for techs out there. rebuilding old machines and whatnot. like artisans and the dig site.
maybe also make it capable of being a place for techs to get tech materials without having to get it via the junk hopper or that place with all the robots. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

That's something that's been pondered for live.
My(current) plan is a building within Llanfair(central) that's Human-only with clothes and such.
It will have the shop, some history items, etc.
Can't really speak towards the Tech/Artisan stuff, though. |

It was a bummer to not have the Humans represented in the furniture shop. That was the first time I ever noticed Humans being excluded. Is there a particular reason that there wasn't a human section? _________________ S.

This festival is Alteri-centric. Or is meant to be, at least. |

every non racial store is a human store.
i mean that's the downside of being the generic race, sadly. a dagger is a human dagger, while a rdhivokokolzoz is a darju dagger. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Yaru has a point. As the general common race, nearly everything is 'human' unless detailed with the cultural touches of the other races. That isn't really good or bad, simply a result of our status. Though I would like some more flavor for us Humans, though I will have to think before I can give specific ideas. _________________ Zanquin Firestarter, Performer of many talents, alchemy addict, stratohunter addict and all-around crazy harlot

Oh man. This is so easy. Need ideas for human life? Look out your front door.
But anyways, my ideas for humans are this:
A museum. Simple enough. Could have several wings. The animal wing, technology wing, culture wing. Of course culture would have been "When humans left" culture, not WW2 or North/South replicas or information. Just something to show that humans didn't just piss away all the knowledge they came here with...Or use it all for making marksmanship weapons (which is, in and of itself, a human thing to do with knowledge: make destruction).
A language. Humans need their own language. In the world, we have french, several dialects of spanish, chinese, japanese, viatnamese, german, russian, duetsch (sp?), and hundreds of others. It's not that far fetched that the humans on haelrahv couldn't make a mishmash of these languages. And it's actually logical: Humans arrive on alien planet with several other races, wouldn't we WANT a language in which to communicate privately with?
I can't see justifying a clothing shop. As much of the standard fare in HR is human everyday attire. But that's all I really have to add. _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

while not as extensive as what you want, there is that museum in LACAD's casino, which has a lot of human technological advancements and some video footage of stuff.

Common is the Human language. REVERSE APPROPRIATION.
that said there definitely should be a "human" tounge. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

As I stated in another thread, I and others view common as the interracial "trade" language, a mix of understandable languages and dialects in which the 5 species (and sometimes monsters "Thief!"), use to communicate. I just think that while very human like, it's a bit silly humans would bring knowledge to advance technology with computers and guns, but no language. _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

While that works to some extent, you also have to realize that 600 years have passed between now and life on Haelrahv. Granted that Humans were thrust back technologically when reaching here, but all the advances made in those 600 odd years wouldn't have been forgotten. I'm putting some finishing touches on a general history/time line of Humans before Hael, so I hope this will help in generating further ideas from you guys.

Actually, that's presently closed as I'm finding a more suitable permanent location for it. _________________ God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion.
