so now that i like the idea of Yaru all impressed after being immersed in some real Alteri-religion culture, I'd love to have him stick around Loshei Island (ps: gimmie more stuff to do out there, thanks!).

but, beside that, i started thinking that a good number of players have loyalties to various areas of Haelrahv. it would be cool to apply as a citizen a specific location and get some boons to go along with it in that area, maybe at the cost of paying some taxes. this can also maybe be seen as step 1 to being involved in politics (for Live, at least).

general citizenship bonuses:
cheaper imaging costs
cheaper medic costs
courts look more favorably toward you
ATMs waive fee (you're associated with local banks!)
helping local citizens grants extra reputation points
5% discount in local stores

llanfair
less reputation needed to access Vale
ambulatory service - for a minor fee (that goes up each time you use it but also decays in cost over time), you can use your communicator to call for an ambulance which will escort you to the hospital. also, if dead, you will be escorted to the hospital morgue for free (how nice!)

chodaku
access to twilight tavern
ambulatory service (same as above)

echak
trust of the locals - nowbi are not aggro until attacked/see another nowbi being attacked by you
ashen balm - for a fee, the local healer will coat you in sacred ashes from the volcano, protecting you from it's heat for a duration of time

loshei
faster submarine (Very Happy)
blessing of the loshei - due to the sacred nature of the island and the sea-origins of the alteri, all water obstacles on the island are much easier to navigate

jareya
motorboat - no more rowing. NO MORE ROWING! all citizens of jareya are allowed transport aboard a motorized boat for free.
jungle medicine - for a fee, jareya's chief will give you a potion made from local plants that will prevent the poisons of the sshliss from affecting you.
