I'm wondering why it takes so much stamina to sheathe a weapon when you're low on stamina? When I get down to where I can't swing anymore, I sheathe my weapon, and that takes away more stamina than an actual swing would take? That just seems weird. Not that it's a big deal since I'm out of stamina anyway.

I only notice stamina loss from sheathing when I'm low already.

Sheathing a weapon doesn't involve stamina in any way (and despite being confident, I doublechecked just in case). What likely happened is that you had a stamina reduction from something else (another command, an attack, poison, stat change, etc) and the display changed when your now-empty hand was updated, thus making it appear that to two were related.

Ok, to check it out, I did a hide script to drain all my stamina. When I got to 9 stamina, I stopped, and started drawing and unsheathing my weapon repeatedly. I know there's no possible way that stamina and focus have anything to do with drawing and sheathing, but this is what I saw. When I drew my weapon at 9 stamina, nothing happened. When I sheathed it, my stamina went down 5% on the little bar in GS mode. When I drew it again, my stamina went back up the 5%, and my focus went down 5%. Sheathing again flipped them once more, and then they just flipped back and forth from there on. Seems kind of weird.

What's your burden at when this happened? Quite possibly its that you got so much fluff on you that it takes a boatload of stamina and effort to wade thru all your fluff before you actually sheath your weapon. Heh, kidding. Smile

Does your weapon have a stamina or vitality bonus?
