so hunting chith (and making money) is pretty easy for my newbie, but skinning asapi/eosheai/gamojabs (and thus making money) with equal skill is hard.
i notice things even out more once you have stats that are supportive of what you need to skin well, but those stats aren't too hot right out the character gen. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!
With a high-pitched cry, The Modan Kucho collapses in death. |

I second what Yaru is saying. Even at 15th promotion I have a much easier time killing, hitting, and skinning chiths than say Eosheai or small gamojabs. Only thing I'm wondering is if it's intended, kind of like a learning process? _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

Actually, there's some level of variance that isn't tied directly to level. One common but not always true rule of thumb is that humanoids or other creatures that drop boxes usually have either no skin or are easier to skin with less valuable skins.
Chith skins are harder to get than asapi or eosheai but only by a tiny margin. The biggest issue here is that there is a random factor - and without my looking to see what that factor is off-hand, even if it's a 1-20 random roll, that's a huge margin for new characters and a much smaller one for high level characters (esp. characters who are Trackers). _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
