So when I aim my gun, I'm told the aim time is 9 seconds, but I get the fully aimed message after 3 or 4 seconds. is this a bug, or just that my skills/stats lowers the aim time but the messaging doesn't reflect it?

i also have march of time up if this matters.

It's a bug but one I know of. There's some fine-point accuracy problems with AIM timing, and given a choice to make an aim time slightly shorter or longer than intended, I erred on the side of shorter.

sounds good. i wasn't sure if aimtimes could decrease with skill, if the lower aimtime was from a bug, or if it was a feature, or whatever.

my aimtime did go up (message wise) from 9 to 10 seconds just now, though. not sure why.

Yeah I just fixed a bug. The base was supposed to be 10 seconds and it was 9. You're actually aiming at the base time. I need to check into whether using dual guns is causing a problem, it may be.

Roundtime reducers actually have no effect on aiming time. The only things that will reduce aim time are a) the type of weapon used; b) special characteristics added by alterers; c) survival techniques by Trackers.
