If anyone's ever wanted to try out Guild Wars, this weekend's the time to do it. They're opening the Player-vs.-Player stuff to everyone for the weekend, and you'll get to test out the two new classes they're releasing in the expansion as well.

So some friends and I were watching an old Star Trek: The Next Generations episode on G4 last night...and I am a big John de Lancie fan....but the faces he was making at times were just too funny NOT to share. So I did a little web surfing, and VOILA!

I'd say that would be cool if it happened in real life, but then you'd have that loser who god mods and dodges everything and is invincible, and you'd have to pull out an actual gun to stop him.

Or you could just play Assassin.
Rent out random rooms in a hotel (on many different floors) have all your players start in a random room, supply them with a dart gun and another person's name. That is their target. They shoot their target, and take their target's target. Last person "alive' wins.

Having just experienced hard drive failure (happens when your laptop overheats..and mine did, once) I recommend this product wholeheartedly.
For those of you who haven't had hard drive issues yet, this product can fix imminent bad sectors BEFORE they are unfixable by simple maintenance. For those who have bad hard drives, this product can restore it enough for you to boot it and get all your data off.
Best of all, it works with ANY type of hard drive (this includes you Mac users).
I just used it to restore my drive to working (temporarily), and moved all my data to an external USB drive. Makes losing the drive only painful in a pocketbook kind of way.
