Triumvirate - Three platinum Stars in a trianlge formation on the shoulders. This is the highest rank that can be achieved within the LACAD, and only three Triumvirates may exist at one time. Triumverate positions are appointed by the Queen of Llanfair and these officers, like the Royal Cabinet, serve at the Queen's Pleasure.
Royal Air Colonel - The Royal Seal of the Queendom of Llanfair with a pair of outstretched silver wings on either side of it. This is the rarest rank within the LACAD, or the Queendom itself. Available only by royal appointment, this signifies a lifetime of achievement and service to the crown.
Chief Warrant Officer - A triple-bladed propeller-shaped gold epaulet with a golden crown above it. Warrant officers hold warrants from the Triumvirate and are specialists and experts in certain technologies or capabilities. Comissioned warrant officers are direct representatives of the Queen of Llanfair and derive their authority from the same source as commissioned officers but remain specialists, in contrast to commissioned officers who are generalists.
Major - A golden crown above two crossed silver double-bladed propeller-shaped epaulets. This rank is the commissioned rank of a chief warrant officer, although the job of a comissioned officer is more generalized in nature.
Flight Captain - A golden crown above two crossed silver double-bladed propeller-shaped epaulet. This is the third lowest rank a commissioned officer may hold.
Warrant Officer - A gold triple-bladed propeller-shaped epaulet. This rank is junior to the chief warrant officer and signifies a high-level of expertise in a generalized field.
Flight Lieutenant - Two silver double-bladed propeller-shaped epaulets on one side of the collar. This is the second lowest rank a commissioned officer may hold.
Flight Sergeant - Two gold double-bladed propeller-shaped epaulets on one side of the collar. This is the second lowest rank a non-commissioned officer may hold. This rank is above flight ensign and below flight lieutenant.
Flight Ensign - A single silver double-bladed propeller-shaped epaulet on one side of the collar. This is the lowest rank a commissioned officer may hold. This rank is above airman and below flight sergeant.
Airman - A single gold double-bladed propeller-shaped epaulet on one side of the collar. This is the lowest rank a non-commissioned offer may hold.
Advisor - A gold crown-shaped epaulet with a depertmental symbol below it An advisory position technically falls outside the chain of command, but for general operational purposes an advisor works alongside the staff of a set department and reports directly to that department's head or project leader.

hey beau, where do the operations people fall in with these rankings? _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

These are just some basic concepts of what the design looks like, the crest is NOT what the royal Z'dan crest would look like. The rank structure and basic design is based in large part upon the Royal British Airforce. (RAF) |

I re-did what the epaulets looked like once again and added the pictures to assist - partly so *I* could keep things in order in my head. Let me know please via e-mail if you don't have an epaulet yet, or if yours is wrong. _________________ If there is one thing in the world that I know, love conquers all, it trancends time and space, defies all odds, and can bring you back from the darkness, it is the guiding light that helps bring you in from the rough stormy seas of life, and it remains even after you have gone.
