10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage Should Be Illegal
01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
05) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears's 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
06) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
07) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
08) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
09) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans. _________________ Mickey Brunner

gay marraige should be legal just so they can learn to regret what they've been asking for. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Heh.
For the record, I don't agree with gay marraige. At least for gay men. Gay men are far too damn fickle. _________________ Why use logic when you can just...make stuff up? |

lesbian marrage, though, is 100% hot, and thus should not only be legal but encouraged via a Girls Gone Wild crew.
i read somewhere that someone can't even legally be a lesbian unless they're under 21, sweedish, and on a bikini team. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

I'm not gonna say anything about gay marriage, but that list reminds me of this:

thats a neat guide, aesal, and oddly useful for me since its been five years since i took intro to logic. im probably going to save that link for later research.
on the other hand, its also the sort of thing that would probably only be referenced more than once by a few types, such as 1) philosophy students (me), and 2) nerds (me).
by the way, slippery slope and ad hominem often find themselves in the message forum. _________________ You say, "Wisdom, courage, temperance, justice."

Kudos to the list! _________________ If there is one thing in the world that I know, love conquers all, it trancends time and space, defies all odds, and can bring you back from the darkness, it is the guiding light that helps bring you in from the rough stormy seas of life, and it remains even after you have gone.
