Aww, you forgot the nuggets of 'so cool!' and 'good job!' posts. I know they seem small as compared to the angry letters tot he editor, but they are there. And I can understand frustration...and that the negative posts seem so much more numerous than the happy posts, but seriously, and I'm speaking for everyone, the majority of the time we're thrilled with new stuff. Esspecially new stuff the community helped to develop.

Sometimes I, as a player, feel surprised by how some others react to posts (and not my own thankfully for once!). I think the majority of the time, posters with negative comments really are just trying to give the gm developers a head's up on to why the new code's not working as expected...but we always seem to over-react to things...and then over-react to the over-reactions and then...

So Faith, and all the GMs, we do appreciate you. <3

Well, thank you Kit. I do appreciate the post, but I just want to clarify these comics are an attempt at humor on my part (hence the 'Just For A Laugh' location), not a complaint.

Let me just say that the 'view' is very different once you see things as a GM. And with that viewpoint, you have to maintain a sense of humor or the bad things (even offset by the good) can have a negative affect on you. Some of the things you guys do/say, some of the misconceptions you have, some of the assumptions you make - are just very funny to me.

I know it wasn't a complaint. ^.^ I just wanted to pass on some warm, fuzzy, happiness for you and everyone else working so hard on houses and the fest and nskill and live and professions and...etc!

And besides, there should never have to be a reason for people to say thank you for all your hard work. Even if it makes you seem like a brown noser in the process. ^.^

Every time someone says "brown noser" I can't help but think of a cute little puppy with dirt on his/her nose...

Over-grown, drooling rottie puppies tumble over each other in haste to make it to the dirt pile first.

The very first thing "made for me" after I became staff.

from dreggies point of view ............

all the gms sit on thrones lines with toilet paper and have nothing better to do than titter at dreggies sad attempts to rule all of hr ........

but as a player you lot do a great job and i dont envy you one bit having to watch the exploits of all the chars with the quirks and slightly odd manerisms and yes when your doling out new stuff im first to grab a handful but when the abuse starts i hope im capable of giving you all a good laugh at the expense of dreg HUGE HUGS you toilet paper line throned freaks Twisted Evil

I do love these cartoons, I hope you keep going with them.

It'd have been funny to show the people outside talking smack behind Jimbo's back though. Either he's not ready, he's fighting Hodunk to get a completely ridiculous and/or illegal alteration, or he wants 20 alterations and 5 bonuses for 50,000 credits.

I had a player who wasn't prepared while running a merchant once (in a different game) late into the night, and actually fell asleep at the keyboard waiting on her. I woke up a couple hours later to prodding from half a dozen other GMs and a big batch of players wanting to know what was going on.
