it would be cool if an appraisal can tell us what the item counts as (weapon, armor, art, clothing, jewelry, etc).
i know it normally is a "well duh it's this" kind of thing, but sometimes it helps to just get some clarification.

It would also be cool if, the items were sorted on your inv because of this. |

i think that's another issue (and possibly a ton more resource intensive, although an actual GM would know the truth in that).

yes, but I would think taging an item with what it is would be a start.. |

I would hate it if my stuff were automatically sorted, because it's almost a guarantee it wouldn't be sorted the way I like my stuff sorted.

not exactly an auto sort.. but the ability to use the sort verb to put things in some order. |

I do, I just get tired of striping all the time, because I am forced to remove my comm when I make gadets... I use an earbud comm. |

Just a note: In "Live", your inventory is sorted according to the wear location of items, top-down.

At minimum, we can allow a SET style option to sort or not sort your inventory I'm sure.
