I know this is going to be kind of a stupid question, but does Parry work for Unarmed Combat like it would for combat with normal weaponry? I didn't think it would, but then after looking at the Guardian's triple-trainable skills, it wouldn't make sense for Parry not to work with unarmed combat.

Parry works for unarmed combatants, yes. You can't parry projectiles and there may be damage inflicted in the process of parrying a weapon. However, parry is not just sticking something in the way to catch an attack.. it's also other forms of blocking like grabbing a sword arm, etc. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Sweet. Thanks, Trevor. Another quick question: if you were to actually grab the sword arm of the attacker, would it be possible to force them into dropping the weapon? This would, of course, take a buttload of skill, coordination, and the infamous Luck factor. But, even after all of that, I think it'd be neat.

It's a possibility. Dunno if it will be there, or if so, immediately. I'll ponder that as I go thru the combat motions again. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
