living in the uk i feel helpless and my thoughts go out to everyone caught up in the hurricane. i have made a donation thats all i felt i could do to help . i hope the above site is of use to anyone else who feels as powerless as myself to offer their help .

I sent money to the Red Cross. They don't need supplies so much because it's expensive to send it down there...but the number to call is free and they'll do a check over the phone in less than 3 minutes.

As a Mississippian and someone who saw exactly what Katrina could do (even though I'm inland, winds got up to 80 mph at times and the rain was unbelievable) I want to thank every single one of you who have either expressed well wishes for everyone in MS, FL, AL, and LA or donated to the relief funds.

I know alot of you personally and think you are great people but you guys always seem to give me more reasons to believe it. If only our president could have the personality of one of you
