1. Will there be two story houses? Or can we just get one of the room exists stairs? I want to have Kit live above his workshop. ^.^
2. This might have been answered, but I can't find it...If your house is unlocked, can anyone wander in? It'd be nice to work out of the workshop and have people directed there.
3. Once you set up a house, can you change it's desc and room configuration around? Or, once it's set, it's set?
4. Will I be able to buy everything that is in the public tech workshop to outfit my own personal workshop with?
5. Any clue on what additional room/workshop/terrain/furniture might cost? I want to know how much mad money-making I need to do. Budgeting right now afterall!

You can arrange your rooms in any manner you wish. You can make every room stacked upon the next for a tower effect if you wanted. The exterior of your home won't look like a tower by description, nor will it say "a single level home" or something, but you can completely control how all your rooms are connected to each other.

Yes. If the home is unlocked, anyone can enter.

You can change it any time you want. You'll have to do this at a specific location that is not inside the home, however.

Not sure. One of the things not set up now is furnishings, and when Roselie is back from her trip we're going to sit down and discuss it. I'll have to see how tech stuff is set up. If all the code is on the tool/station itself, then it will be fine. If code is needed on the room, that will present a different challenge.

Furniture I'm not sure (see above) but it will vary a lot anyway. Terrain costs $60K to $250K depending on the type of terrain and amount added. Labs/Workshops cost $75K each. Additional rooms are currently set up at $100K, I am undecided if I will adjust this or not.

Is it coded in such a way that home exteriors can be alterable? Like, if you really wanted people to know that your house was a tower, you could (through a contest/voucher/whatever) make it so they see a dark and dingy tower instead of whatever the standard home "tap" is. Or is this something that we should hope makes it to Live instead?

There's no mechanic for players to change their facade, but a staff member can without causing a problem of any sort.

I don't think any of the homes are remotely large enough to be called a castle, and I wouldn't want to see them named as such either.

Well, as long as the option to change the facade is there, even if it has to be through an intermediary, I'm happy. Just one more possibility for alteration merchants, heh.

Yes, me too. I'd love to get 'a garage' or something similiar to how Kit's house looks.
Is it insane to already be writing up descs for the thing before it's even out? Hehe. Yeah, I guess it is insane. I hope there will be house guy around! Hehe. It all sounds so much fun!
