As per my other posts in this folder, I definately think that humans should be treated as a 'brand new' race on Haelrahv. Obviously, Humans are not what they are on Earth. A whole new setting and hundreds of years creates a whole new people, a whole new race.

So where are humans at culturally in Haelrahv? Good question! I'm going to host a meeting...maybe...if enough people are interested...to get together and figure out where the human culture on Haelrahv lies. If no one cares, I'll theorize for myself. So when's a good time for you all?

i'm all for having races better described, but how are humans being improperly protrayed right now? i mean, as far as i'm aware there really are no references made to 'earth human' culture.

No....there is no Haelrahv Human culture.... There's Eolai and Darju and Alteri culture, but humans don't have any holidays or special racial festivals...or even customs...and I think that they should. As per my last two topics in this folder.

It's worth noting that Humans have been around a while but are still a relatively new addition to Haelrahv. This goes for Darju as well, and you'll note that most Darjuan lore / tradition is rooted in the Darju from their home world.

Regardless, lore, cullture, etc will be fleshed out more over time.

Human culture changes every decade in places like England and America and Japan and even second and third world countries. Every two hundred years or so language and culture are completely revamped. So humans have been on Haelrahv for 600 years. They should have their own culture by now, a few times over, unlike anything on Earth.

Humans just get left out a lot in games with their own languages -- they can learn other languages here, so it's not a big issue -- and festivals and holidays. They don't even have their own room at the Blue Araoi Resort.
