Kuchos

I was talking to Jade abit about this...but I figured that I'd post it here.

Kit's a 73rd tech. These are his stats...fully potioned up since this is how I hunt with him (deft, life and clarity potions, plus battlefield chant)

Agility : 77 (96)
Coordination : 78 (122)
Mentality : 93 (117)
Perception : 76 (95)
Vitality : 88 (89)

Pulse Weapons : 200 (247)
Tactics : 200 (206)
Evasion : 146 (151)

Kuchos are a level 75 critter which is suppose to have a devistating pummel.

I started hunting these two days ago, telling people where I was in case I died...and everyone laughed and said: "See you in two minutes." Well...it's been two days....no death. Not even close to death. It takes about 5 shots to kill a kucho with doubled up heavy pulse handguns. Yes, they advance fast, but Kit can usually back off of them before they hit.

And when they do hit, it's slight or weak.

Two pummels in a row did absolutely nothing to him. I thought at first it was the full cybergear taking the damage, but all the hits were to the chest and neck. All slight or weak.

...did something happen to Kuchos? Or did I just happen to train remarkably well?

Chances are you may have gotten lucky. I cant remember when I started hunting them but I know I have been there a long time for lack of anywhere better to hunt.

They seem pretty easy, to me. But the fact that Psychic Hammer usually takes them down in one pulse might account for that.

Even after a claw, bite and pummel from one, I was only down to 61% health.

I'll try hunting them again later tonight.
