Can we have an NPc who fixes comms in the comm shop? Kinda like the NPC who repairs cybergear? It's frustrating to need comm repiars and not have a tech aound or willing to repair your comm. I would prefer to be given the option to deal with an NPC over a player anyway. I don't like being "forced" to interact with people one of my characters does not like. _________________ You hack your way through a very young fisherman's back. Technically...your character will be interacting with people still. _________________ "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" -- Adam Savage

I was going to suggest just buying a new integrity chip, but those are rather expensive. Backup comms are pretty cheap, though. |

Yeah, if you have a special comm, you can spend about 400 for a new comm and take the low-tech chip from it. That would be MUCH cheaper then any NPC could do. _________________ "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" -- Adam Savage

which screams some kind of loophole abuse. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

I don't know, it kind of seemed like integrity chips were invented so that people could just buy a new one if they didn't want to deal with a tech. |

i was talking more about the part where you can buy a $400 comm and taking the low chip out of it instead of buying a standard chip for $10,000. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

True, but maybe you're only supposed to pay that much if you want a higher integrity chip. I don't really see how it's any less of a loophole to just buy the comm and use it instead of using only its chip, and people've been doing that since comms've been breaking down. |
