I've set up things so that certain things are considered commodities and their value will fluctuate based on how much of that object is sold. This will make harder to find items more valuable, or reward aggressive traders.
This is not Bureaucrat only, but Bureaucrats have the benefit that commodities they sell do not hurt the demand for that item, so selling a bunch of rubies will not lower the value of rubies. This does mean that players who have a Bureaucrat sell commodities for them will be helping the entire global economy by doing so. Additionally, Bureaucrats are able to sell things for higher premiums than others. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Charisma and persuasion. But those affect other professions, too. |

Actually only Charisma affects other professions. Bureaucrats get the benefit of being able to use their persuasive abilities with shopkeepers. _________________ One must have knowledge beyond learning, and wisdom beyond understanding to say what can or cannot be. |
