Pulse Ammo

I'd like to see different types of pulse ammo. Not just hybrid, or regular, or whatever. Like...electro-shock pulse ammo, and radioactive pulse ammo, etc. Ammo that has the possibility of doing something upon impact, whether stunning the creature, or setting it ablaze, or freezing it, or mutating it...

It's a fun concept.

Not to take away from your request by any means, but just to clarify - all pulse ammo is electrical in nature and does electrical damage, so unless I misunderstood the "electro-shock" ammo idea, that one would be redundant.

But sure, more pulse ammo types couldn't be considered a bad thing.

I would personally really enjoy having one. I double up my pulse guns and having one deal damage and one stun...it'd be cool, I think.

i think the idea of multi-function pulse things would be cool if someone could flip between cores on the same gun.

I was thinking that too. That would be the gun though, not the cores, I don't think. It could charge the energy differently, but I wouldn't want a different gun.

Different types of pulse ammo are already planned and I believe some of the systems necessary have already been implemented.

They may, however, be harder to get your hands on than the more exotic firearm and archery munitions.
