so sometimes i just want to see the price of something i own, but i'd love to run NO RISK AT ALL of having the item get sold.
is it possible that, if we show an item to an NPC, that NPC can do something like:

| You show your super awesome borkin slayer to George Gibble, who looks at you and says, "Nice! I'd pay $13,235 if you'd SELL that to me." |

If you set your saleconfirm to on, then I dont think there is a risk, as long as you dont say yes.

I see your point, although from my experience, its hard to get multiple "stupid" checks. Kinda like when I wanted an extra warning when I tried to attack without a weapon.

saleconfirm is a check in place to keep people from selling things without confirming, allowing them to check value before deciding to sell, Yaru was asking about another means to do it that was even more foolproof. Thats what I meant by a second check.
