Blood Donations

So, I donated blood today, hurray hurray. And I got to thinking a moment ago that it would be kind of cool if we could donate blood in the game as well. To make it appealing to the masses, I thought up some bonuses and penalties for doing it.

Pros:
1. Raises faction with the citizenry, similar to doing errands. I would suggest making this give the same benefit as two or three errands.
2. A little bit of pocket money. Anything from $500 to $2000; random roll.

Cons:
1. Temporarily reduces vitality and strength. I want to say by 10 or 15 points for the first half hour after donating and then allow it to regenerate slowly afterward.
2. Temporarily reduces maximum balance by two levels. I guess it would regenerate over the same amount of time as the vitality and strength reductions.

Some restrictions would apply, however, to keep people from donating over and over and over again.

For an in-character explanation, the hospital personnel will inject you with this solution that insanely increases the rate of erythrogenesis (yeah, don't ask me what it would contain; there are so many possibilities). However, federal laws stipulate that anyone receiving this injection must wait at least ten days (one IRL week, I think) before donating again. Mainly because some of the solution remains in the bloodstream for about this amount of time and could potentially harm recipients of the blood if enough is present (since their systems are already compromised).

So, ideas.. thoughts?
