first off, i love that there is finally a way to knock something over that isn't sweep.

that said...

1) can we have some messaging that tells when we knock something over with a stun, as opposed to just knock it over?

2) what's up with the self casts? all i know it does so far is make me stand up when i'm in a non standing position. i can't tell what that does for me, though, other than make me stand. from the messaging it made me think it was a mgical way to retreat from combat. not a melee to missle, but at least a step back or two.

The nice thing about these abilities (not just psi/spells either) is that we can add the occasional use somewhere that is way out of context of the purpose of that ability.

So flinging yourself up a cliff in a specific room could always be a possibility.

by the by... (and i'm not sure if just shockwave does this...)

do higher powered casts of gust/ripple/shockwave push things further away from you?

I'm not sure what you mean by "high power casts" unless you mean overloading, which only affects elemental circle spells.

woops, what i meant was i'm sure there are damage levels for spells like there are for weapons. higher power in this case means like, if i land a really strong hit on a critter as opposed to a moderate or light one.

There is no physical knockback aspect since there is no ES in place, however the chance and duration of stuns, and damage dealt, can vary and generally increases with increased skill/mentality.

1) self casts don't knock me out of hiding.
2) casts on enemies don't knock me out, either (although this makes sense, since it's not like the air blasts out from me as far as i know, but it just sounds like it's unfair. then again, this may be a psionic snipe, heh)
