Can mail chips like...blink every 30 minutes or so to let us know we still have mail not picked up?

it would also be nice if we can push a button on our comm or something that will tell us if we have mail or not.

I like that idea too, but I never remember to go check at the post office, so I probably wouldn't remember to check my comm.
