Yes, my comment was in reference to those people who have duplicate first names (and know they do) here in beta, not that people can purposefully take your name just to be a pain. For those with duplicate names, one of you will have to choose a new name.

Random thought, even though this is way way way off-topic. Could it be possible for those of us that've been standard account holders through a good chunk of the test phase to reserve one name we'd like to keep into Live? Just as an added bonus and all that.

It would be a nice benefit, but we actually don't track this data. I have intended to start tracking it as of live, for loyalty benefits, however.

IF that name hasn't already been chosen in the system when you try to choose it. |
I have to change it to Kitt. Without a last name, no one can interact with me if they have any type of kit, or if there is one laying around.

Not only can we force the parser in the Live game to check players before objects, but we can even force it to ONLY check players (or only objects, etc.)
