the roundtime goes down with skill. |
I don't think so, the rt seems a little random, and it went up a little with each word seeming to cap out around the 15th or so.

You have some point of refrerence however by your success with hunting whatever you were hunting before, as well as looking at the creature. Also even if you did try them and died, in most cases it would be far less than an hour of your time lost, I say an hour because that's literally how long it took me to inscribe all my words. I think even a marred item would be worth *something* if it took that much work.

Just to clarify...
The less-time-spent-tanning part comes from more completion-per-<action> because of skill; not a decrease in roundtime. In fact, the roundtime itself is sort of taken into account. You actually WANT more roundtime, because it reflects more success <insert dramatic gasp from the audience>. _________________ Mickey Brunner

I'm not sure why this is under armor making, but I spose I'll make a few detailing comments.
When you make something and mess up and "the item's worth is completely voided", did you ever try sanding it to try again?
When you said it caps out for you at 15 words, are you concidering the length of those words?

I sure wouldn't buy an artistic piece where the artist obviously screwed up and decided to try to sell it anyway, I'd actually be annoyed with them for trying to pull a scam like that on me. Just sand it and start again. _________________ ~Hunter~ |

Ok so skinning is for skining critters and fleshing
Armor skill is for the different things you can make
and craftsmanship is for how well you can make said things
Does armor skill have ANY affect on how well you can make things aswell or is it just craftsmanship _________________ Mellie Amresh says, "Send someone with a bigger dick."

any chance of getting a list that shows the requirement in crafting for each level of quality

Nope! Ha! But even the highest requirement is still pretty low, by most standards. On the bright side, I gave some weight to light armor skill when determining quality. _________________ Mickey Brunner

Update: You can make all the types of armor with 60 ranks in light armor, IIRC. If not that, then 62 or 64.
Your knowledge of armoring will allow you to make the following pieces of armor:
gloves mask tasset armor
gorget boots tunic
helm greaves shirt
vambraces coif leggings _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Was the armor crafting ever fixed so that you see if its ring mail, studded or scale when apping? Or hopefully added to the tap.

Ok, I said I was going to do that and forgot!
That will be taken care of in the near future.
