Vault Issue

A quick count shows you have room to store 22 more items.

You can't fit a sleek black leather executive briefcase into a titanium safe because that would total 167 items, which is over the maximum capacity of 160 that the safe can hold.

The vault itself appears to count attached stuff like "tiny tags" and the container pockets that come attached to the items as separate items.

Are there any plans to fix this?

I checked this out thoroughly and found no problem. Unless you have improperly made items you should be fine. Feel free to assist if it reoccurs so we can look at the details.

The criteria for items that "don't count" toward your limit are objects that: can't be picked up (this should cover tags/pouches/etc, or can't be seen.

Wow..that's so weird. It's all fixed now.

Because I had that problem for some time. And yesterday, I had took out stuff from my bag until it I could stuff the items inside the vault based on the messaging the safe gave me. Then when I checked my vault book outside, it said I had space for X more items, which when I had counted was exactly the amount of the "non-pick up" slots.

But now it's fixed. Well... *checks* MOSTLY fixed.

*scratch head* I'm so confused. I must be buggy. But I'm not going to complain anymore because this is a HUGE HUGE HUGE improvement from before when the vault was actually counting those items you said shouldn't have been counted.

I don't see it as a complaint. I want our systems to work properly to the best of our ability. If you experience it again and would like to ASSIST, I'll be glad to look into it.

But a sidenote: It sounds like maybe you hadn't tried recently to reproduce the older bug? I did change lockers to fix a problem with capacity checks, but that was several days ago.

Nope. All this happened last night

...or..err...your late morning (my last night). It was an on-going issue that persisted even after I posted...but somehow mysteriously went away after you checked.

Because stupid bug likes making me look wrong!

But I know I wasn't dreaming because when I last used my vault about 10-12 hours ago, I had filled it to maximum capacity according to the vault messaging (taking out and throwing away items from my briefcase and bodybag until it finally fit inside the safe).

But when I logged on today, it said I had 20 over item space free. Go figure.

Thanks to Haidee, I found a problem in vault books that would make it seem like you had more room for items than you did.
