Just sharing. This is from a newsletter I receive.
--> GIVE SPAM A ONE WAY TICKET TO WASHINGTON D.C.
We all know that the Can-Spam Act isn't working very well. But, the
government is still trying to get their arms around the junk e-mail
problem. Here's where you can help. Send them all your junk e-mail.
The Federal Trade Commission says that they use the e-mail to pursue
law enforcement actions against people who send deceptive e-mail. When
you do, be sure that you include the e-mail header. This is information
usually not seen when you open e-mail. It contains the Internet
Protocol or IP number of the computer where the junk e-mail originated.
In case you're not sure how, there's a tip on my site detailing how to
see an e-mail header right here:
http://www.komando.com/tips_show.asp?showID=4483
So, tell your family and friends to forward their junk e-mail. The
address to send it all is: spam@uce.gov _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
