Is there anyway we could get a subduement-type move? Choke hold, a real tackle, something like that? Non damaging but having it keep the 'victim' from doing anything combat related, specifically attacking. Right now its really hard to stop a dispute since there is no engagement system anyone can attack anyone from any distance. So its hard trying to RP a trooper, as a law enforcing agent and having 2 people kill eachother in front of you, especially if only one of the persons is doing the attacking and the other is trying to talk it out. Shieldbash works sometimes but it can be lethal in some instances.

Also I understand this could be abused, I guess it would just have to be something that was regulated by the councilors if it could be.

Realistically, not in the test phase. Primarily because we're about to start some heavy dev on the live game that will make developments in test much much rarer, and those which more or less fall under the category of stuff only I do personally will be super-rare since I'm spread so thin now.

But the good news is, I think this would be really cool for live and it's been on my checklist so to speak for a while now.
