I think the penalties to being prone in combat should be a bit more severe. . .as it is now. . .getting knocked down in combat isnt that big of a deal. . .even being able to dodge and parry while laying on the ground. I just think that getting knocked down while fighting wouldnt be as bad as geting stunned of course. . .but should be alot worse than it is now. Would also give people a bit more incentive to train acrobatics if they wanted. _________________ It is better to be pissed off than pissed on. |

It's kind of a big deal for me. I dunno how our stats differ, but I seem to accrue large penalties for either missing, or being knocked on my arse. _________________ Behind every optic is a mathematic. |

Being prone results in a loss of 30% of your defensive power. In addition the actual action of being knocked down causes a loss of balance. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Is it the same for critters? I dont understand how I can sweep them, land that hit, knocking them down then have them dodge the next couple hits I aim at them. _________________ It is better to be pissed off than pissed on. |

It is the same, yes. It's hard to say, because so many factors play into combat. Perhaps you were more tired on the successive swing, or your balance actually decreased, or perhaps it was just a bad random roll involved. But yes, the 30% reduction does apply, and I'll verify that is working correctly Sunday/Monday. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
