Sure am get'n alot of weak and slight hits with decent hitting blunt. The big ones are jus way to slow to use for the damage. Took away double slash so it seems should have trained blades. So would recomend to all to train blades.

Yes I really screwed up by training blunts. Blunts have weak blunt hits no slashing or piercing while blades have blunt damage piercing damage slashing damage and can be poisoned. Really is no reason to use blunts. Unless you want to swing once and get half a dozen hits before you can swing again and then you prolly miss anyway. Almost makes me want to start drinking again.

Hmmm maybe there could be a double-type attack for all types of weapons. . .but name them differently. unarmed got pummel. . .double slash for slashing weapons. . . .

how about skewer for thrusters. . .

and uhh. . .smash/wallop/maul for blunts

I get a lot of weak hits with blunts, but a lot of decent hits too. This is with a below average weapon, but I'm also hunting things that are a little easy for me. I'll try something more difficult later.

Your powerful smash to a mamujuk berserker's abdomen rearranges her innards and causes instant death.

With one strong swing a borkin warrior's neck collapses, causing him to choke on his own blood.

A few things of note:

1. Only one damage category is applied to any given attack. If you slash an axe, you don't do that blunt + pierce + slash. You do slash. To clarify:

SLASH, DOUBLESLASH - slashing
THRUST - piercing
BASH - blunt
ATTACK/THROW - whichever attack is highest of the three is used.

2. Blunt weapons generally have more damage capability for a weapon of their speed than bladed weapons of equivalent speed.
