Okay so we have Athletics as a 3 per level skill.

But per this post from Trevor I'm wondering if we really need it:

<<It has no great effect on hunting right now. It is a useful skill for some obstacles where you need to jump and stuff, but its role in combat is very, very meager. Of course this is always subject to change.>>

So can you clue us in a bit? Is Athletics still little involved with combat? Because I'd rather spend the skill points on more weapons.

Thanks,

I'm going to try to help (again), and probably be wrong again *grins*... but anyway... I think there is a stance that gets a bonus from Athletics, but that might be all Athletics will do for you regarding combat.

P.S. If you want to quote somebody in your post, just use the

I think its the human stance, wrestling, that beneifts from athletics. . .also im not sure but it seems to help in general with things like swimming and climbing.

These guys have pretty much answered it for you. You can also quote by selecting the text then hitting the quote button above the typing area. Works for colors, bold, etc too.

Really though it can help with places that require a small amount of climbing or swimming. . .without having to train both skills.
