Oh, and an actual question now...
When you cast Summon Animal.. does the creature summoned start attacking like it would if found out in the wild, or is it turned into a familiar-type thing? Because if it's the former, that could be abused a little.. |

It's summoned as if it were a tamed pet under the caster's control. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Looks very promising! I can't wait to see the Psionic ability list. Also, there's a typo in the description of "Protect Legion." It says you need to know "Pso Shield" to learn it. Hee hee.

Ooo spiffy.
I'm not sure how I feel about all the teleporting spells though. They sound helpful, but don't wish to see them be too helpful, and have everyone just teleporting around everywhere (which is what I can see happening later on), specially sense any race/profession can learn them. _________________ Dragoonseal |

FYI, generally, teleport spells have (expensive) component requirements in addition to mana. Psionics have less in the way of teleportation abilities, which you'll see, but they don't have component costs currently, just psi pts. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Ok, thats pretty cool then. I also hope that if you have bad mentals and suck at magic skills, that you won't be able to still teleport around freely (if you had the spell components). I hope its a kinda more hard thing to do.
(I've played a game for awhile where any class can learn all the magics, and utility type spells like teleport, making bread/water, summoning stuff, turning invisible, etc, could be done the same as anyone else, regardless of how crappy you might be at magic (except duration on some things, like invisibly), you could teleport to whatever city you wished. It was really stupid, and its just something I wouldn't want to see here.) _________________ Dragoonseal |

Nope.. you have to train spell research to qualify to learn spells, and you have to train spell casting to be effective with your spells. And, if your intellect (mentality for psionics) is low, you will only make it harder or impossible. Those stats also determine how much mana/psi pts you have available and how quick you regen them, too. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
