I think there should be one more step for the broker where they can see how much is GOING to be brokered and for how much, so that:
A) they can ask for a payment up front if they want to be paid for ... |

I mean in general.
And yes, all the brokers I've used so far have undoubtedly gotten me more money for my items than I could have myself. So I happily tip them. |

No. I always, always, always, ALWAYS tip for services rendered. If I don't have money, I go and get it. But being forced or reminded is not a TIP, it's a FEE.
