Flashlights and comms ARE really easy. A 15th (maybe lower) tech can make a near-perfect communicator. Flashlights might be even easier to make.

| If we get harder gadgets I'd hope the current ones would be lowered in difficulty and whatnot. Constructing a thermonuclear device and still messing up on a flashlight would be... wrong. |
